Studio 3 went beyond an in class assignment and gave way to an actual client our professor was working with in Germany.  The project focused on an infill building that would replace and abandoned mini market.  The building structure was layered together by a retail space on the ground floor, offices on the first floor, several levels of apartments and a restaurant on the roof.  The project gave students a sense of real world needs and requirements, structuring them to real world needs and not just their own mind sets.
